Another trip to London

Tue Oct 27, 2009, 2:59 AM
I spent the day in London again yesterday, there were a few small exhibitions that we made a point of seeing:

Lori Earley at the Opera Gallery
Mark Demsteader at Panter and Hall Gallery
Andrew Tift at Plus One gallery

All great stuff. Although there were only 6 Lori Earley paintings still on display it was a real treat to see them.

After we'd seen those 3 exhibitions we wandered off to the Tate Britain. I hadn't been for a very long time and I'd forgotten what terrific stuff they have there too. A few highlights were seeing Herbert Drapers 'The Lament For Icarus', John Singer Sargent's 'Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose' and some excellent Pre-Raphaelite pieces.

All in all it was another splendid day there and I've no doubt we'll go again soon.

Hi, can I use few of your graphics in my new play by forum game? I just love them! Of course, I'll give you credits and add a link do your dA on my page.

Sorry about my English. ^^
:iconnamesjames:
Thanks for asking but I'm afraid not. I don't own the copyrights to many of the works in my gallery, and the ones that I do own I typically exclusively license out.

First off, your gallery is beautiful and second, do you do this as a career??? Because you are amazing!! I wish I was half as amazing. . . ^^,

To take an idea from one person is plagiarism; to take from many is research.

If it's the one I just saw, it looks like it might be by Lorenzo Sperlonga. I could be wrong though.
